Lemon Facial Mask

Ingredients: 2 tablespoons sour cream, 1 teaspoon finely ground oatmeal, 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice, 1 drop lemon essential oil and cucumber slices (optional)

Mix the sour cream, oatmeal, lemon juice and essential together in a bowl. To use, massage over clean face and neck skin and then rest for 10 minutes with cucumber slices (if you have them) over your eyes. Rinse well with warm water. APPLE HONEY FACIAL MASK

Ingredients: 1 medium size apple (grated) and 5 tablespoons of honey

Mix the grated apple with the honey to make a mask. Smooth over skin then let sit for 10 minutes. Rinse off with cool water. (courtesy of www.SpaIndex.Com )

CHOCOLATE FACIAL MASK

This decadent mask is actually an excellent moisturizer — it leaves your skin baby soft. Recommended for normal skin.

Ingredients: 1/3 cup cocoa powder, 3 tbsp. heavy cream, 2 tsp. cottage cheese, ΒΌ cup honey and 3 tsp. oatmeal.

Mix all ingredients together (a bullet blender is ideal) and smooth onto face. Relax for ten 10 minutes, then wash off with warm water. (courtesy of www.SpaIndex.Com )

SENSITIVE SKIN CUCUMBER MASK

This mask is perfect for sensitive skin. Chill it in your fridge before use to make it especially soothing.

Ingredients: 1 tablespoon brewer’s yeast, 1 tablespoon finely ground oatmeal, 1 whole cucumber, 2 tablespoons plain yogurt or sour cream and 1 teaspoon honey.

Mix together the yeast and oats in a small bowl and set aside. Peel the cucumber and place it in a small food processor and process until only liquid remains. Add the yogurt and honey and process further to mix. Add the brewer’s yeast and oats to the cucumber/honey mixture and process to mix fully.

To use, apply to clean face and neck skin and leave on for anywhere from 15 minutes to a half hour. Rinse well. (courtesy of www.SpaIndex.Com )

HONEY OATMEAL FACIAL

Ingredients: 1/4 cup plain yogurt or buttermilk, 1/2 cup oatmeal and 2 tablespoons of honey.

Finely grind or process the oatmeal in a blender or food processor. Set aside. In a small bowl, stir together honey and yogurt, and then add ground oatmeal. Mix thoroughly until a smooth paste consistency has been reached. Smooth over your face and neck, leave on for fifteen minutes, and rinse off with warm water. Can be used daily.
